Tools , Available in Español Français

Euskadi is a territory strongly committed to sustainable development, as evidenced, for example, by the Basque Environmental Strategy for Sustainable Development 2020, the broad expansion of the Local Agenda 21 or the Euskadi 2020 Strategy for sustainable growth and human development. It also has expertise in different areas covered by the Agenda 2030, with high capacity for innovation and is prepared to meet ambitious challenges and adapt to international policies. It is a territory of solidarity with a strong social character and aware of the need for a sustainable human development to ensure a dignified life for the planet. Basque society, including civil society and business agents, have a high social commitment and their environment. This implies that we are not starting from zero to ensure that by 2030 our territory and our planet really is fair, safe, healthy, equitable and sustainable.
