This publication contains eight specific recommendations addressed to the legislators of the Congress of the Union of Mexico, in order to strengthen their role in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. The recommendations are also aimed at promoting gender equality in legislative bodies and promoting and institutionalizing citizen participation and accountability at all stages of national planning, based on the powers of the Legislative Power.
