The Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development (FfD4) provides a unique opportunity to reform financing at all levels, including to support reform of the international financial architecture.

The United Nations Youth Office will support up to five young persons (18-35 years old) to participate in person at FfD4 taking place in Seville, Spain, from 30 June to 3 July 2025. Candidates should hold citizenship from either of these countries:

• Afghanistan
• Iraq
• Lebanon
• Libya
• State of Palestine
• Syrian Arab Republic
• Tunisia

Selected young candidates will:

• Engage with decision-makers and policymakers at the Conference on Financing for Development.
• Share insights and innovative solutions to enhance sustainable and inclusive financing strategies.
• Connect with fellow young advocates from diverse backgrounds and regions.
• Contribute to shaping international policies and commitments on financing for development.
• Play an active role in driving progress toward the 2030 Agenda and the SDGs by advocating for equitable and impactful financial solutions within the UN system and beyond. 

Eligibility and Selection Process

This opportunity is open to young people (18-35 years old). Selection of eligible young persons will be made by the UN Youth Office with support of partners, including its Youth Reference Group, with due consideration to gender balance, geographical representation and other under-represented youth groups.
