Mandala ODS

Tools

The Mandala ODS is an application made available to municipal public managers and society that makes it possible to diagnose, monitor and evaluate the performance of Brazilian Municipalities regarding the level of achievement of Agenda 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). By bringing a "radar" type chart, the Mandala shows the degree of development of the City according to four dimensions: economic, social, environmental and institutional. The tool provides 28 indicators of the 5,570 Brazilian municipalities, which are considered in 6 different groups for analysis and comparison purposes. The Mandala ODS was developed by the National Confederation of Brazilian Municipalities (CNM) within the framework of the joint project of CNM and the ART Initiative of UNDP to strengthen the role of municipalities in the localization of the SDGs in Brazil, and specifically in the monitoring and accountability systems of the SDGs at the local level.
