The Policy Transfer Platform is a tool created by the City of Berlin and supported by Metropolis and other partners to showcase innovative projects taking place in cities across the world.
With your help, the platform aims to build a global resource for urban practitioners and researchers who can learn from examples in other cities to improve their own city. Through partnerships with the world’s leading urban awards and knowledge platforms, the Policy Tranfer Platform provides a one-stop shop for internationally recognized best practices.
On the platform, users will find information to develop local solutions in line with SDGs. Case studies provide a short overview on a project or policy, including lessons learned, and the opportunity to assess the transferability potential for their own city. Registered users can connect with peers in their field and benefit from experiences in implementing innovative and sustainable solutions elsewhere. In turn, as a registered user you can provide visibility to your own projects and policies by submitting case studies from your city and acting as a contact person for other interested users.
