Your action is needed to avoid SDG 11.3.2 indicator – which focuses on participatory planning processes – from being removed in the SDG Global Database.
SDG 11.3.2. indicator: "Proportion of cities with a direct participation structure of civil society in urban planning and management that operate regularly and democratically" measures how participatory cities are. Inclusive and participatory urban planning processes are key to create sustainable urban futures and strengthening social cohesion and democracy is at the core of UN-Habitat’s work, so your participation and support is vital in preserving the integrity and impact of this indicator.
There's only six months to gather the necessary data, about 8000 data points worldwide.
A new data collection and monitoring tool in the form of a user-friendly survey as been developed:
We implore you to contribute your responses to the data collection and share the tool with different partners and stakeholders. Time is of the essence: Let’s act NOW!
Complete the survey to assess your city’s civic engagement and compare your score with your city’s average.
