Dr. Marianne Schörling is a global health expert working at the intersection of policy analysis, strategy design and community engagement. She is Head of Stakeholder Engagement at the Geneva Macro Labs, a think tank focusing on developing actionable solutions for a sustainable future, bringing together the United Nation with local partners. Marianne also supports the Afro-European Medical and Research Network as International Engagement Manager, and advises organisations on impact strategy and community engangement. While she started her career in strategy consulting in 2004, she became some years later a health-rights advocate inspired by her work for the World YWCA, the largest women's rights movement of its kind. Marianne holds a PhD in sociology, researching in the field of health sociology and decision sciences, completed training in global health with the Heidelberger Global Health Institute and the Public Health School at Harvard and is a member of the International Sociologist Association (ISA).
