Localization of SDGs in Tanganyika - Provincial Report

Case studies and best practices

Developed with technical and financial support from UNDP as part of a participatory and inclusive process, this report presents the SDG priorities of the North Kivu province that rhyme with its specificities and development priorities. To enable these priorities to be effectively implemented, the political authorities in these provinces are committed to (i) taking ownership of the recommendations contained in this report and translating them into the 2018 budget policies, strategies and program budget frameworks. provinces, under review; (ii) incorporate the SDG priorities identified in the Provincial Development Plans (PDP), which is being developed; and (iii) engage the private sector in a win-win partnership for the success and achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals in the province.
