Case studies and best practices

Since the beginning of the mandate, the Department of the Gironde has applied to specify its contribution to the global objectives of sustainable development. For the 2015 SD Report, the year in which the SDGs were adopted, each Vice-Presidency identified the objectives on which it was intended to prioritize its contribution. For the 2016 HD Report, accountability report in the spirit of the documents produced by States annually in the UN High Level Political Forum for Sustainable Development, the Department's policy contribution to each of the 17 SDGs has been detailed . This year, each Vice Presidency made the effort to qualify the impacts of its policies and devices on each SDG. A visualization of the impacts is proposed and explained for each vice-presidency. And then ? Impact monitoring and quantification tools are being finalized and integrated into the decision-making information system of the Gironde Department. The impact indicators will be present at the next edition of this annual accountability report.
