Timed to coincide with the opening of the 73rd Session of the UN General Assembly, Global Goals Week 2018 takes place from 22 to 29 September. And while the General Assembly meets at UN Headquarters in New York, Global Goals Week meets you where you are.
A key feature of Global Goals Week is that it brings these important discussions outside of UN walls, beyond New York City and beyond the usual crowd.
No matter who you are or where you are, there are many ways to get involved in Global Goals Week. Learn about the SDGs and connect with others who share your commitment by linking up with one of these events.
The 2030 Agenda is a vision for a better future for both people and our planet. The Global Goals provide the roadmap for getting there. But none of it will be possible without global solidarity and concrete action from people all over the world – including you.
As UN Deputy Secretary-General Amina J. Mohammed says: “Global Goals Week calls for collective action, creativity, innovation and commitment to deliver on the SDGs for everyone, everywhere.”
